Job Summary

The lecture instructor will teach Developmental Math class(es) each week along with, developing teaching materials for classes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree with at least 24 semester credit hours in math or closely related field.

General classroom instruction experience or graduate level education hours

Ability to integrate technology into curriculum design and instruction

Excellent written and verbal skills

Computer literate

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mathematics

College teaching experience

Essential Functions

Implement and teach lecture assigned curriculum class(es) as needed by semester

Stay current with trends and innovations in the field

Maintain academic records as required by the college, accreditation agencies, and law

Successfully teach academic courses in the Developmental Math department as evidence by student evaluations and grade distribution

Instruct students; distribute syllabi, goals, and objectives

Use LMS ( Learning Management System) appropriately for the course

Ensure student assessments are implemented

Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds

Use of manual dexterity

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

Classroom, lab and office setting

Min Salary $417.00 per lab hour
Max Salary $614.00 per lecture hour
